White House doctor hides Joe Biden's brain drain |
President Biden went for a colonoscopy on Friday and his doctor said his brain is fine.
So now he and his inner sanctum have made it known that he plans to run again in 2024, when he would be 82 years old.
Nobody really believes any of that.
For one thing, where is the cognitive proof of him? That is the question increasingly present in American minds. It's clear from his often bizarre or confusing behavior that
something is not quite right with the president, which is why 59 percent of voters want him to take a cognitive test and publish the results, according to a new one.
McLaughlin & Associates survey published in the Washington Examiner.
But the six-page letter released by the White House late Friday, revealing the results of his first official physical exam, omitted any reference to Biden's cognitive abilities.
We got a lot of details about the things we could have done without the White House doctor, Kevin O'Connor.
For example, he removed a polyp from his presidential colon.
Biden does not have Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, O'Connor concluded from an "extremely detailed neurological examination," which was "reassuring."
He expressed concern about Biden's "ambulatory gait" - the way he walks, or more accurately, shuffles. "The president's pace appears to be significantly stiffer and less fluid than in the past," he said.
O'Connor speculates that the change may be related to Biden breaking his foot last year when tripping on a mat when he came out of a shower while pulling his dog's tail, allegedly.
He concludes that the cause is only osteoarthritis in Biden's spine.
Gait disorders, particularly stiffer, shortened, and asymmetrical steps, like the ones we see with Biden, are often related to dementia, which is why Dr. Marc Siegel, clinical professor of medicine at Langone Medical Center from New York University, told Fox News that he is concerned. O'Connor's report omitted crucial information.
“I don't like that they attribute their gait problems to a broken foot. . . This is not a fully characterized neurological evaluation of someone with a gait problem, and I want to know why. "
Siegel says other tests were needed “to rule out things that. . . it can be associated with cognitive changes such as mental status, such as dementia. "
During the 85 minutes that she was under anesthesia, Vice President Kamala Harris assumed the powers of the commander-in-chief, but if the voters have anything to do with it, she is the closest she will get to the top job.
The Cackler poll numbers have sunk even lower than Biden's: just 28 percent approval in the latest USA Today-Suffolk University poll, ten points below Biden's abysmal 38 percent. That same poll found that the number one item on voters' wish list for Biden in the coming year is for him to resign or retire.
